Sea Hunt 50th Anniversary Podcast

Sea Hunt started production in 1957, so 2007 was the 50th anniversary. As we were doing the Underwater Videographer Podcast, we wanted to give our listeners something special for a Christmas present and I interviewed Eric Hanauer, a professional writer and underwater photographer who was the last to interview Lloyd Bridges before his passing, actress Susan Silo, a guest star on the show, and even Jeff Bridges, who shares anecdotal memories of his father and the show. Sea Hunt was said to inspire a generation to begin diving.

Dr. Bill Bushing

Dr. Bill discussed his over forty years of diving, relationship and work with the Cousteaus, his DVD and cable access show, and his methods and techniques.

I think Dr. Bill is a good learning example for us all. I hope you enjoy listening.

Tim Zimmerman and The Dave Shaw Story

ABC's 20/20 did a whole show devoted to the Dave Shaw Story. Where the story came to light was journalist Tim Zimmerman's Outside Magazine article in 2005. This is a chilling edge of your seat interview where Tim gives the backstory on the 20/20 broadcast and goes into details of his research and the events of the Dave Shaw Story.

Underwater Videographer Podcast 2007

With Glenn Goodrich, Former Engineer with Ikelite Systems

My conversation with Mr. Goodrich in 2007 was very informative and entertaining to me. He was very easy to talk to, wanted to help his customers and potential customers with information, and well represented his company. From the Ikelite Website:

Ikelite Remembers Glenn Goodrich, 1962 - 2011

Tragedy fell upon Indiana and the Ikelite family on Saturday when a concert stage collapsed at the Indiana State Fair. Among others, one of our own, Glenn Goodrich was fatally injured while working security at the event.

Glenn's contributions over his past 24 years at Ikelite were significant. He was instrumental in the transition from manual drill presses to CNC mills. As Video Supervisor, he managed the development of our video line. He touched people around the world with his enthusiastic approach to customer service.

This video is dedicated to his memory.
